I met Danielle and Laz back in January when I shot their engagement photos! I instantly clicked with them and their sarcastic senses of humor. Incase you didn’t know… I tend to be a smart ass. It was a running joke that we all had an obsession with guns. In fact, they had guns in their engagement session. After that, we knew we would work well together.
Their wedding was at an outdoor venue with logs as seats and pretty fall leaves falling down all over the place. It was easily one of the most beautiful ceremonies I have ever shot. Once they said their vows and formal photos were over, we headed into their reception which was an absolute blast. The last hour of their reception was called “loco hour” where everyone dressed up with wigs and selfie props and danced around. Those are some of my favorite photos of the entire night. Mostly because Laz played the “drums” on Danielle’s coconut bra. But, I might have been the only one standing on a chair paying 100% attention to that!
Also, they opted for a day after session up at Craggy Gardens. It was all of 32 degrees and windy as ever. We may have froze, but the photos were ENTIRELY worth it! Including the ones of Laz tripping while bumping hips. (Another one of my favorites)
Danielle + Laz, thank you so much for letting me be part of your big day! I can’t wait to see more of you on your trips to Asheville!
