Well, I guess it’s that time for my blog to introduce the boyfriend. A lot of my Instagram followers have started to ask questions. I keep my life pretty private on my Instagram, but this guy keeps popping up in my stories and I’ve been spending a lot of time with him.
Meet Chris! Chris is a phenomenal wedding photographer in Wilmington, NC. Go follow his work here on Facebook, and here on instagram! We met a few months ago after being Facebook friends and having many mutual friends. And it was pretty much just an immediate click. I plan on keeping him around for a while. At least until the end of this wedding season (:
One of our favorite things to do (since we live hours apart) is to stay in really fun places together when we visit each other. Last month we stayed in the bell tent at Asheville Glamping. This trip, I booked this AMAZING container home in Carolina Beach. I’m already looking at buying a few containers to make a home for my family and I! How cool is that?! Follow their instagram here, their Airbnb listing here.
When we arrived at the container, we instantly knew it was going to be amazing! Small, quiet little neighborhood, not even two blocks away from the beach! Absolutely perfect. And why would two photographers ever stay somewhere as rad as this, without taking a few photos. Am I right? I’ll answer that for you. I’m right! We have started our little learning curve with tripod photos and I am absolutely in love with the way these ones came out.
Let’s be honest here… how freaking cute is he?! Best part… he woke me up for the sunrise, made me coffee, and made bacon and waffles. He’s a keeper. Make sure to go check out the container home pages for yourself! And book your little mini vacation! Or full vacation if you don’t have children like us. For more photos of the container home that we took, head over to the My Adventures blog and look for the blog solely posted about the container home! (:
Bloopers are becoming my favorites. Have you ever seen a guy eat waffles so perfectly? And how about that perfect mug twisted arm things. Our couples do this with their champagne glasses at weddings! We thought it would be funny. It was definitely funny to us.
