I will be the first person to admit, that I am absolutely horrible at advertising. I don’t pay for billboards, or bridal shows, or post things all over coffee shops. I probably should though. Most of my work comes from word of mouth. Brenna is the sister of a friend of mine, Audrey. If you follow my blogs at all, you would see a lot of photos of Audrey, her husband and her 3 boys. When I heard Brenna and Daniel were getting engaged, I knew right away that I wanted to shoot their wedding!
Their engagement sessions was completely different than any other engagement session i’ve shot. We met at an antique hall in Concord, NC. Moved into a brewery and then moved into the hallway of another brewery. We then drove to downtown Concord for a creamery, and ended up at an old house. I love locations that have some feeling. Like the records, the ice cream, the old creepy “haunted” house.
Daniel mentioned that he was not good at taking photos because he never did what people told him to do. “They tell me to move an inch, I move a foot.” He lied. Daniel and Brenna were absolutely amazing and one of the ONLY couples that I didn’t have to say super cheesy lines to, to get them to smile and laugh. They made each other laugh the entire day, which is obviously one of my favorite things to photograph!
